Just some thoughts.
I'm at the point in my life where I have found out what everyone is: stupid. Now, that's not everyone, just mopst people on T.V. or anyone that actually has influence in our society. Sure, before I rejected things based on this thought, but now I really am sure of myself when I think about it. What? You think that I don't think that I, myself, is stupid. Oh hell yeah. I am not the smartest being around, and I don't think I know the secrets of the universe. That's not really point in my thought though.
What truly stirred this thought (it's a recurring thought you see, happens periodically whilst watching der teevee) was a Sharper Image commerical for there ~Ionic Breeze~. Man what a name that is. Sounds so hi-tech, yet gentle and something that even I could understand. It's an air filter, but no normal air filter. No, no, you don't expect things from Sharper Image. This air filter makes no noise (because your gentle ears can't handle the hum of a fan). But the real thing that made me go "DERR HERR" and go on a ramble (I scared my dog) was when the "host" of the infomercial said "I was shocked to find how dirty the air inside my house was..."
Ok, now, c'mon. C'mon. So basically, she was shocked to learn that she, yes she a person, breaths the same air as the air outside, in her home! MY GOD, WHAT A REVELATION. What the hell do you think you're breathing in your house, substantially different air compared to the outside? What do you think happens when you open a door, a window, or just about any other hole in your house? Do you think a force field comes up and blocks all incoming outside air from entering your clean fortress? It just makes me want to yell at her for supporting this "three payments of 69.99," product.
Then, if that's not enough to make my head explode, they have all the payed actors talking about how much they adore this item, like it's Jesus or something. "This item has given me a life *sniffle* an alergy free life." I'VE BEEN SAVED FROM THE GERMS, I CAN BREATH. THIS ITEM HAS SPURRED MIRACLES IN MY HOUSE. MY CAT HAS FINALLY STOPPED PISSING EVERYWHERE. BUY IT LIKE A MINDLESS RETARD! It's like they put a sign out of their office "Calling all xenophobes for commercial!"
Get over it, and please stay off the air.
